The Bergan Star Chaser Bonus Pack is a proven favorite by consumers and cats. It features a motion activated LED ball and a center scratch pad that keeps cats busy and away from furniture and drapes. One of the most engaging cat toys out there, it will entertain your cat with the appeal of catnip, scratching and interactive play.
9 month old fun crazy Siamese isn't wild about this oneReviewed by Nancy, 2010-01-11
I think my Siamese kitten is just too smart for this toy.
Sometimes, late at night, I will hear him playing with it in the
living room which is a pleasant way to be awakened...not! ;)
It's just that he is one very, very active kitten and this
certainly isn't his favorite toy. He prefers interactive toys and
drags the stick and bird or stick and mouse-like fluff thing down
the hall and up on to the bed in the morning to let me know it's
playtime and exactly what he'd like to play with :)
My older tabby who was declawed by his previous human, uses the
scratching area but he already has a scratching post he uses all
the time. I've only seen him hit the ball a few times. He has no
interest now.
I'll probably end up donating this one to a kitty shelter. I think
it's probably the best for young kittens. My Siamese is now 9
months old and he's tiring of some of the toys he adored just a few
months ago. He adores the mini crinkle balls and the best place to
play catch with them is up on my bed. He also loves the little
mouse on the wire...loves, loves, loves it! And, he adores a very
old furry "mouse" on a string with a pole that I drag around. I've
had to tie it back together several times but he keeps digging it
out and bringing it up to me every morning and every evening. I've
just found something similar and I hope he loves it just as
much.
My older tabby has very little interest in toys since the kitten
came on the scene. He wants to eat the mylar strips on the stick
with mylar that makes great noise and has nice color but he doesn't
really want to batt at it. But, they both adore plain old paper
bags and they love to chase each other around the house, hiding and
leaping out at each other and that play is free ;)
play scratcher boardReviewed by Debbie Shea, 2009-12-30
My 4 cats LOVE this. We have others that don't light up but they
always go to this one first. 2 of the cats actually played together
with it . Each sat on different sides and hit the ball to each
other. NEVER before have I seen this. I couldn't get my camera in
time.
It was adorable!!! A MUST HAVE for cats!!!
Good product but ball arrived deadReviewed by MTrousdale, 2009-12-08
My cats love this toy but the original ball was DOA - I'm glad I bought two extra balls at the same time, as I don't have the time and energy to chase down a refund/replacement.
EntertainingReviewed by Ol' Fluff, 2009-12-04
My cat gets bored easily, and can quickly figure out toys that I control (like catnip toy mouse, or feather on a string). This is the toy he goes back to to amuse himself when no one else is playing with him. I don't mind the noise, but I do mind that it slides easily on wood flooring. Cat has shown no interest in scratching the cardboard in the middle, but he has his own scratcher so that's not a problem. The Star Chaser is keeping him occupied when I'm not around, so I'm satisfied with the product.
Turbo Cat ToyReviewed by J. L. K., 2009-10-17
Good overall value.
The turbo scratcher is a great idea; incorporating scratch pad with
compelling toy, but it's too lightweight and slides around the
floor.
We both LOVE the ORGANIC catnip.
